We should mention about the upset which took place in Almagro, where higher ranked San Martin (9-6) lost to eighteenth ranked San Lorenzo (5-14) in a road game 68-73. Worth to mention a great performance of center Fernando Podesta (205-1992) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Lucas Perez (184-1987) contributed with 18 points for the winners. San Lorenzo's coach Emmanuel Quintans allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The former international Matias Solanas (192-1998) replied with 19 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Emiliano Basabe (195-1992) added 13 points in the effort for San Martin. San Lorenzo moved-up to seventeenth place. San Martin at the other side keeps the tenth position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
