Regular Season Round 29: Rocamora - Ciclista 94-86

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Ciclista (14-6) against ninth ranked Rocamora (10-9) on Thursday night. Visiting Ciclista was defeated by Rocamora in a tough game in Rocamora 86-94. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Ciclista. Rocamora players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Center Alejandro Quigley (203-1993, agency: BIG) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners and Justo Catalin (182-1999) chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 steals. Forward Juan Martin Bello (200-1999) responded with 20 points, 5 assists and 5 steals and swingman Manuel Lambrisca (192-1997) scored 22 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rocamora moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Colon SF. Ciclista at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost. Rocamora will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Ciclista will play at home against Quilmes MP and hopes to get back on the winning track.
