Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Montevideo: Trouville (#7) and Nacional (#5). Trouville (10-9) won against visiting Nacional (10-9) 95-82. Trouville players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American power forward Tavrion Dawson (202-1996, college: CSUN, agency: One Motive Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Gianfranco Espindola (196-1999) contributed with 8 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American center Gary McGhee (210-1988, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Inception Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 17 rebounds and Federico Pereiras (190-1994) added 23 points and 4 assists in the effort for Nacional. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Nacional's coach Gonzalo Fernandez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Trouville moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Nacional. Trouville's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Penarol.
