The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Dream Ballers in Belize City on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by Defenders 82-70. Defenders dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Dream Ballers' 38. Defenders forced 21 Dream Ballers turnovers. American swingman Nigel Jones (201-1990, college: Talladega) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Devin Daly (195-1994, college: LSSU) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds.
