Regular Season Round 3: Ferro - Union Florida 46-64

Rather predictable result when Union Florida (6-1) won against Ferro (2-4) in Olavarria 64-46 on Sunday. Union Florida made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for Delfina Saravia (171-2003) who led the winners and scored 15 points and 4 assists. Point guard Julieta Sienra (161-2003) accounted for 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Center Julia Fernandez (185-2004) came up with 10 points and 7 rebounds and Abril Romagnoli added 13 points respectively for Ferro in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Union Florida will meet Pacifico (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Ferro will play against Obras in Buenos Aires and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
