Liga Superior top team - Santa Tecla Elite (10-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat eighth ranked Opico (0-9) 56-38. Santa Tecla Elite held Opico to an opponent 20.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 28.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Santa Tecla Elite forced 22 Opico turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a quality performance for forward Silvia Perez (158-2002) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 4 assists.
