Another interesting game was again a derby match of two local teams from Montevideo: Goes (#2) and Urunday (#12). Goes (13-8) won against visiting Urunday (7-14) 75-64. Goes looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Martin Osimani (194-1981, college: Duquesne, agency: Pro Sports) fired 16 points and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Ignacio Xavier (196-1999, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in 18 points. Naturalized Brazilian center Hatila Passos (211-1985, college: NM State) produced 9 points and 16 rebounds and American-Nigerian swingman Tanksley Efianayi (198-1994, college: UCF) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Urunday's coach Hector Da Pra rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Goes maintains second position with 13-8 record behind leader Bigua. Urunday lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 14 games lost. Goes will meet Urupan (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Urunday's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo L.Borges.
