An interesting game for Brazilian Vivo/Franca (6-0) which hosted in Sao Paulo their biggest opponent Argentinian Obras (1-5). Leader Vivo/Franca had an easy win 105-65. Vivo/Franca dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Obras' 30. They outrebounded Obras 40-26 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Vivo/Franca players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Obras' players. It was a great evening for point guard Georginho de Paula (197-1996) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Center Lucas Silva (208-1995) helped adding 15 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Vivo/Franca have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-0 record. Obras lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the third position with five games lost. They share it with Bigua. Vivo/Franca will play against league's second-placed Concepcion at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Obras will have a break next round.
