There was a surprise result when seventeenth ranked Parque Sur (4-17) beat higher ranked GELP (9-14) in Concepcion de Urug. 85-71 on Monday. The winners were led by forward Brian Osuna (202-2001) who scored that evening 22 points and 8 rebounds and Franco Fragozo (198-2001) supported him with 18 points and 9 rebounds. Four Parque Sur players scored in double figures. Parque Sur's coach Ivan Paolazzi used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 7 points and 13 rebounds by center Franco Barroso (207-1994) did not help to save the game for GELP. Point guard Alan Moreno (185-1997, agency: BIG) added 16 points for the guests. Parque Sur maintains seventeenth position with 4-17 record. Loser GELP dropped to the eleventh place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Echague and Pico FC.
