Regular Season Round 23: Urunday - L.Borges 73-66

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Montevideo where 11th ranked L.Borges (8-14) were defeated by twelfth ranked Urunday (8-14) 73-66 on Friday. It was a great evening for American-Nigerian swingman Tanksley Efianayi (198-1994, college: UCF) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Martin Trelles (187-1996) helped adding 15 points and 4 assists. Four Urunday players scored in double figures. Urunday's coach Hector Da Pra used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American Akia Pruitt (203-1997, college: UNCP) responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import center Ricardo Glenn (203-1990, college: USC Upstate, agency: Interperformances) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds. Urunday moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with defeated L.Borges. L.Borges lost third consecutive game. Urunday's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Olimpia.
