Important game to mention about took place in . Fourth ranked Sameji (1-5) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging one of their biggest challengers Evolve OL (1-5) 99-96 in the game for the third place. Sameji outrebounded Evolve OL 40-25 including 17 on the offensive glass. Jhovanny Mets scored 24 points to lead the charge for the winners and Randy Toribio chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Sameji players scored in double figures. Sameji's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Aneury Parra with 34 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and American guard DeJon Waters Jr (190-1997, college: Pitt St.) scored 28 points and 7 rebounds. Sameji left bottom position moving up to third place, which they share with defeated Evolve OL. Sameji will play against Del Patio (#4) in the next round. Evolve OL will play against the league's leader Fenix and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
