Rather expected game when 16th ranked Argentino (8-18) was edged by fourteenth ranked Platense (11-13) in Florida 74-71 on Monday. The winners were led by Santino Mazzucchelli who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Felipe Massa (184-2002) supported him with 19 points. Four Platense players scored in double figures. Platense's coach used entire bench in such tough game. Even 30 points and 7 rebounds by Luis Colon did not help to save the game for Argentino. Point guard Santiago Capelli (180-2005) added 13 points for the guests. Platense moved-up to twelfth place. Loser Argentino keeps the sixteenth position with 18 games lost. Platense will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Argentino will play against Boca Jrs (#15) in Buenos Aires and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
