Not a big story in a game when 20th ranked San Martin (1-19) lost to seventh ranked Riachuelo LR (14-9) in La Rioja 58-64 on Tuesday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The winners were led by Francisco Dalpino who scored that evening 15 points and Venezuelan forward Keiver Marcano (201-2003) supported him with 6 points and 11 rebounds. Riachuelo LR's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds by center Julian Lorca (207-2003) did not help to save the game for San Martin. Augusto DAndrea (188-2002) added 17 points for the guests.
