The game between closely ranked teams ended with 7th ranked Se7en's (2-11) home loss to leader Santa Tecla F1 (13-0) 41-101 on Tuesday. Santa Tecla F1 held Se7en to an opponent 22.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 43.2 percent accuracy of the winners. Santa Tecla F1 forced 28 Se7en turnovers and outrebounded them 48-35 including a 18-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Santa Tecla F1 maintains sixth place with 13-0 record. Se7en lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 11 games lost. Santa Tecla F1 will meet at home league's second-placed Costa Rica in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Se7en will play against Opico (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
