We should mention about the upset which took place in Salta, where higher ranked Montmartre (10-14) lost to fifteenth ranked Salta Basket (8-16) in a road game 80-85 on Wednesday. It was a great evening for guard Jara Agustin (-1998) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 7 rebounds. Diego Peralta (195-1994) helped adding 18 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Richard Granberry (203-1993, college: Virginia St.) responded with 16 points and 5 rebounds and center Nicolas Franco (204-1999) scored 9 points and 9 rebounds. Montmartre's coach Gabriel Albornoz rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Salta Basket maintains fifteenth place with 8-16 record. Newly promoted Montmartre keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Libertad and Rivadavia. Salta Basket will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Montmartre will play against Tucuman (#16) and hope to secure a win.
