There was an upset when higher ranked Pergamino (11-13) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Pilar (10-16) 83-74 on Friday. The best player for the winners was American center Dishon Lowery (200-1998, college: OKBU) who scored 24 points. Point guard Pablo Bruna (185-1987) chipped in 13 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Pilar players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Manuel Gomez (183-1996) who recorded 25 points and 6 assists and power forward Edgardo Torne (198-1989, agency: BIG) added 19 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Pilar moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Rivadavia. Loser Pergamino dropped to the eighth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Villa S.Martin. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
