Very predictable result in Villa Maria where third ranked Ameghino (21-4) defeated 11th ranked Rivadavia (10-16) 101-85 on Sunday. Ameghino dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Rivadavia's 46. The best player for the winners was power forward Juan Luis Abeiro (200-1988) who scored 32 points and 5 rebounds (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field). Point guard Emiliano Lezcano (187-2001) chipped in 22 points and 5 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Four Ameghino players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Stefano Arancibia (176-1997) who recorded 21 points and 4 assists and American center Jonah Underwood (206-1996, college: HIU) added 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) respectively.
