Important game to mention about took place in Buenos Aires. Seventh ranked La Union (13-14) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 6th ranked Lanus (15-10) 75-72 on Tuesday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of center German Frencia (202-1988) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Emilio Gimenez (196-1995) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four La Union players scored in double figures. Swingman Lucas Gorosterrazu (197-1998, agency: BIG) answered with 17 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Phil Bledsoe (198, college: GSC) added 17 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Lanus. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. La Union have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted La Union maintains seventh place with 13-14 record. Lanus at the other side dropped to the fifth position with ten games lost. They share it with H.Americano. La Union will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
