Regular Season Round 37: Racing - H.Americano 89-65

Leader Racing delivered the twenty second victory on Wednesday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked H.Americano (15-10) 89-65 in Chivilcoy. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of H.Americano. They outrebounded H.Americano 39-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. Forward Emilio Stucky (198-1994) stepped up and scored 22 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) for the winners and Matias Morera (191-1999) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Racing players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Gonzalo Romero (196-1997) responded with 9 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Ezequiel Paz (190-2001, agency: Interperformances) scored 13 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Racing (22-4) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place. Loser H.Americano keeps the fifth position with ten games lost. They share it with Lanus. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
