Very expected game when 17th ranked Olimpico (7-18) lost to ninth ranked Quimsa (14-12) in La Banda 47-57 on Wednesday. Quimsa forced 19 Olimpico turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for Estefano Zarco (-2004) who led the winners and scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Ecuadorian forward Joseph Caicedo (196-2004) accounted for 15 points for the winning side. Senegalese center Mouhamed Sow (216-2001) came up with 8 points and 9 rebounds and Horacio Achaval added 10 points respectively for Olimpico in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Quimsa maintains ninth place with 14-12 record. Olimpico lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighteenth position with 18 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
