Very important is a road loss of third ranked Ameghino (21-5) against tenth ranked Libertad (12-15) on Sunday night. Visiting Ameghino was defeated by Libertad in Sunchales 76-66. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ameghino. The former international swingman Julian Eydallin (195-2000) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Estefano Simondi (201-1996) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Libertad players scored in double figures. Power forward Juan Luis Abeiro (200-1988) responded with 15 points and 6 rebounds and Mateo Beigier (187-2001) scored 16 points. Ameghino's coach Pablo Castro rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Libertad moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Pico FC. Ameghino at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. Libertad will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Ameghino will play on the road against the league's leader San Isidro and will have a slim chance for a victory.
