Twelfth-ranked Boca Jrs (11-13) gave a tough game to fifth ranked Regatas (17-9) in Corrientes on Monday. Regatas managed to secure only two-point victory 71-69. However their fans expected much easier game. The best player for the winners was Fabio Gauto (190-2002) who scored 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Francisco Ferraro chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Regatas players scored in double figures. Regatas' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was center Nicolas Burgos (207-2003) who recorded 12 points and 8 rebounds and guard Tiago Drocezesky (193-2005) added 13 points respectively. Regatas have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 17-9 record. Loser Boca Jrs keeps the twelfth place with 13 games lost. Regatas will meet Atenas (#15) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Boca Jrs will play against San Martin in Corrientes and hope to secure a win.
