Regular Season Round 37: Platense - Union 66-62

Rather predictable result in Florida where thirteenth ranked Platense (12-15) beat 17th ranked Union (8-20) 66-62 on Thursday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Point guard Felipe Massa (184-2002) stepped up and scored 19 points and 5 assists for the winners and Lisandro Nadin chipped in 15 points. Four Platense players scored in double figures. Platense's coach used entire bench in such tough game. At the losing side Matias Fleury (-2001) responded with 26 points and 6 rebounds and Lorenzo Micheloni (195-2001) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). Platense maintains thirteenth place with 12-15 record. Loser Union keeps the seventeenth position with 20 games lost. Platense will meet at home league's leader Obera in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Union will play against Gimnasia CR (#3) having rather not much hope for a victory.
