The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Sao Paulo: Pinheiros (#6) and Corinthians (#8). Pinheiros (16-11) won against visiting Corinthians (14-13) 78-69. Pinheiros dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Corinthians' 16. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for forward Jonas Buffat (191-2000) who led his team to a victory with 16 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Corinthians lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 13 games lost. Pinheiros are looking forward to face UNIFACISA (#10) in Paraiba in the next round. Corinthians will have a break next round.
