The most exciting game of round 7 in the Liga Mayor took place in San Salvador. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed Salvadorenas 2 (3-3) to second ranked San Salvador (5-2) 64-62 in the game for the second place. Salvadorenas 2's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. San Salvador maintains second place with 5-2 record having just two point less than leader Santa Tecla 2. Salvadorenas 2 at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. San Salvador will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Salvadorenas 2 will play on the road against LMMR 2 in Santa Ana and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
