Everything went according to plan in Corrientes where ninth ranked Quimsa (16-12) outscored bottom-ranked San Martin (1-25) 77-50 on Wednesday. Quimsa dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to San Martin's 18. The best player for the winners was Estefano Zarco (-2004) who scored 22 points. Ecuadorian forward Joseph Caicedo (196-2004) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. Four Quimsa players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Tadeo Laphitzborde who recorded 15 points and Lorenzo Benay added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively.
