Regular Season Round 4: Lobas - Teporacas 60-64

LMBPF top team - Teporacas (8-0) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Lobas (1-5) in Ciudad de Mexico 64-60. Teporacas forced 25 Lobas turnovers. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Briahanna Jackson (168-1993, college: Louisville) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and the former international Sofia Payan (167-2000) who added 17 points during the contest. At the losing side Anel Tapia responded with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Joselyne Padilla produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Lobas' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Teporacas have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-0 record. Lobas lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with five games lost. Teporacas are looking forward to face Quetzales (#4) in Ciudad de Mexico in the next round. Lobas will play on the road against Mieleras in Guanajuato and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
