The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Vera Cruz at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Sampaio 71-61. Sampaio outrebounded Vera Cruz 42-30 including a 36-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Taina Paixao (175-1991) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. International guard Alana Goncalo (166-1994) chipped in 10 points and 8 assists. The former international swingman Carina Martins (175-1992) produced 17 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and the former international guard Beatriz Oliveira (169-1995) added 16 points and 8 assists respectively for the hosts.
