Leading Racing (24-5) recorded its fifth loss in Chivilcoy. Hosts were edged by third ranked Ciclista (22-9) 69-68. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Racing. Strangely Racing outrebounded Ciclista 40-21 including 29 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Lisandro Fernandez (194-1998, agency: BIG) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Swingman Manuel Lambrisca (192-1997) accounted for 17 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Forward Emilio Stucky (198-1994) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and power forward Jose Peralta (202-1995) added 10 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Racing in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ciclista maintains third place with 22-9 record having just one point less than leader Racing. Racing at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. They share it with Ameghino. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
