Brusque (4-0) managed to deliver another win on Monday. This time they beat Vitoria (0-4) in Salvador 59-49. Brusque made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Vitoria turnovers. The best player for the winners was Samuel Santos (187-1999) who scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. Andre Mendes (192-1993) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Four Brusque players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Arthur Vasconcelos (185-1994) who recorded 17 points and Gabriel Vargas (195-1998) added 6 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Vitoria's coach Marcelo Berro tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Brusque will meet Blumenau on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Vitoria will play against Osasco and hopes to get finally their first victory.
