A very close game took place in Rocamora between Pergamino and Rocamora. Seventh ranked Pergamino (15-16) got a very close victory on the road over 14th ranked Rocamora (11-17). Pergamino managed to escape with a 2-point win 82-80 on Wednesday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Edgardo Torne (198-1989, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Manuel Gomez (183-1996) who added 11 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Pergamino's coach Julian Pagura used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Tomas Verbauwede (198-1999) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and guard Matias Caire (188-1999) scored 22 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Pergamino maintains seventh position with 15-16 record. Rocamora lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth place with 17 games lost. Pergamino will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
