Rather predictable result in Paraiba where sixth ranked Pinheiros (17-11) defeated 10th ranked UNIFACISA (13-15) 80-69 on Wednesday. They outrebounded UNIFACISA 40-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. Point guard Felipe Ruivo (188) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. The former international center Dikembe Andre (206-1999) chipped in 8 points and 16 rebounds.
