There was no surprise when 15th ranked Salta Basket (10-21) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Colon SF (14-15) 88-84 on Thursday. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Dwayne Russell (203, college: St.Thomas, FL) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds and point guard Joaquin Baeza (182-1986, agency: BIG) who added 18 points and 6 assists during the contest. Guard Cristian Linares (190-1993) responded with 21 points and 6 rebounds and Facundo Arias Binda (192-1993) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Salta Basket's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Colon SF maintains eighth position with 14-15 record. Loser Salta Basket keeps the fifteenth place with 21 games lost.
