Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Brasilia (7-20) was rolled over at home by second ranked Flamengo (24-3) 109-75 on Thursday. Flamengo dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Brasilia's 18 and made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Flamengo forced 19 Brasilia turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The former international Gabriel Galvanini (202-1998) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Flamengo's coach Gustavo Conti felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
