Not a big story in a game when 13th ranked Puerto Montt (5-13) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Valdivia (10-8) 88-72 on Sunday. Valdivia looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American center Roquez Johnson (201-1992, college: MSU, agency: BIG) had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 17 rebounds and 5 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and Argentinian point guard Nicolas Ferreyra (181-1985) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Valdivia players scored in double figures. Valdivia's coach Gabriel Schamberger used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was American forward Josh Morris (203-1993, college: UTPB) with 6 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Camilo Torres (183-1998) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Valdivia have an impressive five-game winning streak. Despite that victory Valdivia went down to sixth position due to points difference, which they share with Las Animas. Loser Puerto Montt dropped to the eleventh place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Catolica.
