Regular Season Round 18: Catolica - Quilicura 90-102

Everything went according to plan in Santiago where seventh ranked Quilicura (9-8) won against 11th ranked Catolica (5-13) 102-90 on Monday. Quilicura looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Chris Perry (203-1994, college: LMU) had a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import power forward Shannon Fowler (203, college: UWG) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Vicente Damianovic (-1997) with 21 points and 5 rebounds and American forward TJ Robinson (203-1989, college: LBSU) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Four Catolica players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Despite that victory Quilicura went down to eighth position due to points difference, which they share with Castro. Catolica lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Puerto Montt. Quilicura will meet at home Castro (#8) in the next round. Catolica will play against Espanol O. and hope to secure a win.
