Important game to mention about took place in Caracas. Top-ranked Cocodrilos (6-0) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 3rd ranked Panteras (3-4) 82-80 on Thursday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Panteras. Cocodrilos players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The former international forward Anyelo Cisneros (200-1997) notched 12 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and Dominican Luis Montero (203-1993, college: South Plains) supported him with 7 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Cocodrilos players scored in double figures. Even 20 points by American Elijah Minnie (206-1994, college: EMU) did not help to save the game for Panteras. The former international swingman Pedro Chourio (186-1990, agency: Pro Sports) added 16 points. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Cocodrilos have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Panteras at the other side keep the third place with four games lost. Cocodrilos' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Caracas Gladiadores.
