Eleventh-ranked Independ.O. (16-17) made lots of trouble for seventh ranked Olimpico (21-13) in La Banda on Friday. Olimpico managed to secure only three-point victory 87-84. However their fans expected much easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Patricio Tabarez (195-1991) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Nicolas Paletta (179-1987) who added 16 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side power forward Fernando Martina (201-1981) responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Salvador Giletto (195-1993) scored 15 points. Four Olimpico and five Independ.O. players scored in double figures. Independ.O.'s coach Martin Gonzalez tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Olimpico moved-up to sixth place. Independ.O. lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the thirteenth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Riachuelo LR. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
