An interesting game for Teporacas (12-0) which played road game in Saltillo against 3rd ranked Racers (7-3). Top-ranked Teporacas had an easy win 90-63. Teporacas forced 22 Racers turnovers. American guard Briahanna Jackson (168-1993, college: Louisville) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized American point guard Hazel Ramirez (165-1992, college: LMU) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Teporacas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international swingman Daniela Soto (177-1995) with 20 points and 5 rebounds and the former international point guard Daniela Pardo (165-1994) scored 10 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Teporacas have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-0 record. Racers at the other side keep the third place with three games lost. Teporacas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Racers will play on the road against the league's second-placed Mieleras in Guanajuato and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
