Regular Season Round 12: Fantasmas - Santa Ana 73-74

The most exciting game of round 12 in the Liga MB took place in San Vicente. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 6th ranked Fantasmas (3-5) to seventh ranked Santa Ana (4-5) 74-73 on Sunday evening. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Marcus Feagin (193-1991) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 22 rebounds. Forward Jose Ortiz (190-1990, college: DelVal) chipped in 26 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Caleb Bowser (193, college: Georgian Court) who recorded a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds and Nick Moore (198-1991, college: Alliance) added 10 points and 13 rebounds respectively. Santa Ana moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Quezaltepeque. Fantasmas at the other side dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with Santiagueno. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
