Regular Season Round 8: Creole Team - Warriors 65-88

The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. Top-ranked Warriors (7-0) played at the court of 5th ranked Creole Team (3-4). Warriors smashed Creole Team 88-65 on Monday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Creole Team. Warriors dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Creole Team's 34. Warriors forced 21 Creole Team turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Jerome Narcisse (193-1987, college: SWOSU) who scored 31 points and 8 rebounds (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field). The former international forward Niiakwei General-Vanderpuije chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Joanki Montero-Espinal produced 24 points and 7 rebounds and forward Kobe McKenzie added 19 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the hosts. Warriors have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Creole Team at the other side keeps the fifth place with four games lost. They share the position with MPS Tronix. Warriors will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Creole Team will play against Sol Blazers (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
