NBB top team - Vivo/Franca (31-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventeenth ranked Cerrado (5-24) in Brasilia 106-68. Vivo/Franca dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Cerrado's 24 and made 22-of-28 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Vivo/Franca forced 19 Cerrado turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Cerrado's players. It was a quality performance for the former international point guard Georginho de Paula (197-1996) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. The former international power forward Lucas Mariano (208-1993) accounted for 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Five Vivo/Franca players scored in double figures.
