Regular Season Round 49: Platense - Obras 77-73

We should mention about the upset which took place in Florida, where higher ranked Obras (20-16) lost to fifteenth ranked Platense (13-20) in a road game 73-77 on Thursday. Santino Mazzucchelli stepped up and scored 30 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and point guard Felipe Massa (184-2002) chipped in 17 points. Platense's coach used entire bench in such tough game. At the losing side point guard Juan Respaud (190-2005) responded with 29 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and Victor Perez (187-2005) scored 14 points. Platense maintains fifteenth place with 13-20 record. Obras lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 16 games lost. Platense will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Obras will play against San Martin (#20) and hope to secure a win.
