Very expected game when 7th ranked Shockwaves (2-5) were crushed at home by top-ranked Warriors (7-0) 99-31 on Thursday. Warriors held Shockwaves to an opponent 23.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 41.1 percent accuracy of the winners. Warriors forced 30 Shockwaves turnovers and outrebounded them 61-39 including a 20-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 3 passes made by Shockwaves' players. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Niiakwei General-Vanderpuije who had a double-double by scoring 26 points, 16 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals. Guard David Taylor chipped in 36 points (!!!), 6 assists and 6 steals. American guard Josh Barrett (193, college: Toccoa Falls) produced 6 points and 17 rebounds and guard Noel Squire added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
