The game between Top Four teams took place in Mayaguez. 4th placed host Indios (4-4) lost to second ranked Atleticos (6-1) 78-74. Panamanian forward Tony Bishop (202-1989, college: Texas St., agency: 011 Sports) nailed 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and international forward Luis Hernandez (206-1988) accounted for 18 points and 6 rebounds. American power forward Kaleb Wesson (208-1999, college: Ohio St.) came up with 12 points and 9 rebounds and the former international guard Jorge Pacheco-Ortiz (186-1998, college: Liberty) added 16 points respectively for Indios in the defeat. Four Atleticos and five Indios players scored in double figures. Indios' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Atleticos maintains second place with 6-1 record behind leader Quebradillas which they share with defeated Indios. Indios at the other side dropped to the second position with four games lost. They share it with Ponce and Carolina. Atleticos will play against Cangrejeros (#4) in Santurce in the next round. Indios will play at home against the league's leader Vaqueros and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
