Rather expected game in Cordoba where 20th ranked Atenas (5-31) was defeated by seventeenth ranked Comunicaciones (10-26) 90-81 on Sunday. Comunicaciones forced 19 Atenas turnovers. It was a great evening for American guard Melvin Johnson (193-1993, college: VCU) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import guard Skyler Hogan (196-1997, college: SEMO, agency: Pro Sports) helped adding 17 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side American center Deion McClenton (208, college: Keiser) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Federico Mariani (190-1992) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Comunicaciones maintains seventeenth place with 10-26 record. Loser Atenas stay dead last with 31 lost games.
