The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Metapan moved-up to fourth place. Santa Ana at the other side dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. Metapan will play against bottom-ranked Chalchuapa (#10) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Santa Ana will play against the league's leader Santa Tecla (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
