The most important game in the last round took place in Izalco between third ranked Cojute (11-6) and fourth ranked Brujos (8-8) on Monday night. Cojute was defeated by Brujos on the road 107-91. Brujos looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Brujos made 13 blocks. Guyanese-American center Anthony Moe (207-1990, college: Millersville) fired a double-double by scoring 28 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks for the winners. Dominican forward Juan De Los Santos (193-2002) chipped in 39 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Brujos' coach Francisco Lemus used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Jeremy Agosto (177-1997, agency: The French Family Consulting) produced 26 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists and his fellow American import center Troidell Carter (206-1991, college: Slippery Rock) added 17 points, 16 rebounds and 9 blocks (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side.
