Finals Game 2: Salvadorenas 2 - Santa Tecla 2 65-101

Santa Tecla 2 dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Salvadorenas 2's 30 and made 33-of-39 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Santa Tecla 2 forced 25 Salvadorenas 2 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Cuban center Yayma Boulet (193-1984) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 9 rebounds. Cuban point guard Arlenys Romero (176-1984) contributed with 20 points and 7 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the winners. Four Santa Tecla 2 players scored in double figures. Fatima Marte replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 18 rebounds and point guard Fatima Aviles (161-1999) added 21 points and 6 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) in the effort for Salvadorenas 2. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
