Not a big story in a game when 5th ranked Centauros (9-10) lost to third ranked Broncos (14-6) in Caracas 84-92 on Tuesday. Broncos made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The former international point guard Garly Sojo (196-1999, agency: Pro Sports) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and American Erik McCree (202-1993, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Pensack Sports) accounted for 21 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his eleven free throws !!!). Spanish-Dominican power forward Jhonatan Araujo (206-1996) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 18 rebounds and American Jordan Allen (193-1998, college: Lynn) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively for Centauros in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Broncos moved-up to second place. Loser Centauros keep the fifth position with ten games lost. They share it with Gaiteros. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
